Rule # 1 : Have fun, =)
Rule # 2 : Recruitment- Never speak of Raven Moon to anyone other than Raven Moon members.
Secrecy will be the key to our success. If asked about joining, one must swear
allegiance to Raven Moon, and agree to abide by Raven Moon rules. They may join,
but must come to web site and read rules, by entering the site they are agreeing to the above.
They must return with the password from this page. That will ensure they have read the rules.
You may give them a day, so they don't have to quit in the game, but keep notes and make
sure they have indeed read the rules. Don't mention the password, they will read this for
themselves, or it will prove they have not, =) Minimum level is now 30+ as of 01/25/02
Some exceptions for special classes
Rule # 3 : Attire- Unless class or race prohibits the use of black armor, all members are asked to acquire
black uniform attire, ( tunic and legs ), it will not be a requirement except for officers.
Higher level members can help others acquire these items. When selling items of this
nature members must first offer them to the guild at fair market value or less.
Black attire will be worn by officers at all guild functions, meetings and parties etc.
After all we are Ravens. This will instill interest and set us apart from other guilds.
Guild attire my be removed for purposes of competitions, duels, and of course if attacked,
then you may change to your normal armor. When in town we ask that you wear your
black uniform, and any other time that permits its use. We are making a statement,
and one that will intrigue as well as bring fear. Gnome skin tunic sell for around 150pp
and legs for around 75pp.
Rule # 4 : NO begging will be tolerated. Begging is unbecoming and shows weakness. If
there are thing you need help with, that is what a guild is there to do. You may ask for assistance
in getting an item, or to accomplish a quest that cannot be done solo, but if you don't get
a response right away be patient. High level players tend to get abused this way, they
have lives to, and tend to stay very busy. Move on to something else and try another day.
Rule # 5 : No verbal abuse or bad language in guild chat, and no whining, not everyone in the game
is an adult, or likes cussing. And not everyone wants to hear others ranting because they
get pk'd or are having a bad day. And if you get pk'd, stand tall, show honor and pride,
this is what we do, if you are not willing to die for the cause, then get out. It is nice to
have a guild to talk to when things are not going well, it can be a big morale boost to
have that support, and we need to respond to any member who has been attacked,
or is having a bad time or things, so a bit of complaining is perfectly fine,
but don't abuse the privilege.
Rule # 6 : We are not a pk guild, we are mercenaries, and mercenaries of light in the fight for good.
All members must be ready when called to answer a pk attack against us or our friends.
We will only kill our true enemies, those of darkness, evil and corruption, and those
who kill for sport or profit, pks are our number one enemy. And they will know very well who
Raven Moon is. There will be known PK's that we will hunt, and those we will hunt or profit,
but you must use good judgment before attacking any light race. We don't want to be seen as a
pk guild, but rather as mercenaries in the fight against pks. If you are not sure who is the attacker,
then stay out of it. If you attack the wrong person, or help the wrong person in a battle,
you will be given a warning, second warning, you are on probation, Third offense you will be
removed from the guild. Use good Judgment here, we don't want to make enemies with other guilds.
Rule # 7 : Removal- If any of these rules are broken, and you are removed from the guild, that removal
is permanent. If you quit on your own, you may never return. If you are removed for speaking to anyone
outside the guild about Raven Moon, you will also be KOS to Raven Moon as a traitor.
So chose wisely your words fellow Ravens. ( Password for recruits is *Moon*)
